Coffins, Winter, Autopsy... And Coffins again! “A La Forca”, the first EP by the Catalonian band Bocc, will blow the minds of any fan of the most draggy, mangy and quarrelsome death doom. Wallow in this work like a fucking pig. Come on, motherfucker, mud up to your ears!

It’s a pity that Cuerno split up shortly after releasing this first album. With members of Lords Of Bukkake, Simón Del Desierto, Morbid Flesh, La Matanza, or Tort, the Barcelona band coat these songs here at a snail’s pace with a mantle of sadness and melancholy, sometimes in a more classical way and sometimes travelling to other planets in a joint-fueled astral trip. Doom and sludge that doesn’t try to choke you, with contemplative lapses, and with Michel in God mode on drums.

Second pachydermic outing by this primitive and experimented death doom trio. Old school as fuck, needless to say. All very basic, no fucking bullshit here, to leave us battered from Bilbao.

Applauded first album by this institution of Barcelona’s death doom. Sordid and smelly, this album lurches rottenly between pillars like Autopsy, Bolt Thrower, Coffins, or Winter.
