This debut, packed with hypnotic piano melodies, funereal riffs, and desperate cries, is inspired by Homer’s “Odyssey”, and ‘tragic’ and ‘epic’ are the most suitable words to describe this melodic death doom opus. Tormented souls who follow Saturnus, Doom:VS, and My Dying Bride closely will certainly feel at home among the long mythological wails of White Mare.
Devastating instrumental doom for your ears. There is no telling what they are able to suggest with these two long bombs, even in the absence of vocals. Smoke a joint in their honor.
Acclaimed fifth album by this veteran and reputed progressive death metal band. The Galicians bring us cosmic nightmares with skilful experimental passages. It’s really worth it!
From USA, Blake Lamoureux debuts with this work of melodic death metal playing all the instruments. Sharpened, heavy, dark, and fast, there are many moments of brilliance.
Improbable compilation of Kiss hits covered by death metal monsters. Can you imagine how ‘Black Diamond’ by Wombbath, ‘Lick It Up’ by Avulsed, ‘Master & Slave’ by Soulrot, or ‘War Machine’ by Massacre can sound like? And the CD is completed with Unbounded Terror, Aposento, Desecresy, Father Befouled... What a show!
What a line-up! After debuting with their acclaimed self-titled album in 2011, Josué Olmo (ex-Lux Divina, ex-Between The Frost) on guitars, Ivan Arrieta (ex-Warchetype, ex-Great Coven) on vocals, Javi Félez (Graveyard, Balmog, Teitanblood…) on second guitar, Pep Carabante (ex-Warchetype, ex-The Mothercrow, ex-Cuzo) on drums, David Saavedra (ex-Doomsday, ex-Lux Divina) on bass, and Albert Recolons (Alter3go) on pianos and synthesizers, they surpass themselves with a second opus which, starting from heavy metal, presents fantastic incursions to doom, stoner, epic metal, rock, grunge, or psychedelia.
Dense split with some of the darkest moments of these two great doom sludge bands. Tart and highly recommended.
About to celebrate 30 years as a band, Teratoma are in their best shape ever. What we find in their new album is old school death metal, classic and forceful. These nine direct and sincere songs won’t deceive you with any made up intellectual alibis. For Benediction, Immolation, Gorefest, Bolt Thrower, or Grave maniacs. Real death metal!
Conceptual, powerful, and exciting symphonic blackened death album with no lack of speed, aggressiveness, instrumental passages, and very accomplished atmospheres. Diabolical Raw will be a revelation for any fan of Dimmu Borgir, Septicflesh, or Behemoth.
Awe-inspiring and atmospheric old school death metal. The Finns celebrate their fifteenth anniversary with an outstanding fourth album, super heavy, that will totally disintegrate you. Excellent massacre!!
12” MLP of this evil death metal project with members of Burial Invocation, Hyperdontia, Diabolizer, or Horrocious. You will succumb to more than 24 minutes of this cursed tempest.
Ultraclear/transparent vinyl!!
Putrefying, foul-smelling, festering, toxic. Second EP from these crazy Danes, who boast one of the most wonderful and beautiful voices of the moment. They’re fucking bards!!
Super fast and, at the same time, melodic black metal from Basque Country. Early Dark Funeral, Marduk, but really violent!! As if an ancient forest was taking its revenge on this filthy humanity.
Turment Nocturn’ first album after that previous demo and split. Catalan raw black metal, rough and reiterative to the point of tearing your guts out, with remarkable ambient touches.
Classic EP on 45rpm with original artwork and large poster! These are our Slayer, the uncontrollable beast that crushed everything.
180 gr black vinyl.
Decay, darkness, melancholic beauty, but with power and might as well. Where light cannot reach, HEX dwell, rejoicing in the shadows of the blackness achieved on “Behold the Unlighted”. From early Paradise Lost to Bolt Thrower, this EP is a death doom lesson through three titanic songs.
