Grim and smelly debut of this decadent Catalan band. While considering suicide, Proscrito spits us macabre adoration odes towards Cianide, Hellhammer, Celtic Frost, Necro Schizma, Asphyx, Autopsy, Paradise Lost, Winter... Morbidity and vice in a great first album.

Dense split with some of the darkest moments of these two great doom sludge bands. Tart and highly recommended.

This debut, packed with hypnotic piano melodies, funereal riffs, and desperate cries, is inspired by Homer’s “Odyssey”, and ‘tragic’ and ‘epic’ are the most suitable words to describe this melodic death doom opus. Tormented souls who follow Saturnus, Doom:VS, and My Dying Bride closely will certainly feel at home among the long mythological wails of White Mare.
